| "I was fortunate to be his dinner companion on a number of occasions during the last decade of his life, and I photographed him in 1997 and shot five or six rolls of film. I also remember that when I gave him a model release form to complete, he said, 'Oh my, I don't think even Mr. Ritts asked me to sign a release form.' I explained that this was my 'evidence' of the four of us collaborating Mr. Crisp, myself and two of my models and even had him witness their forms that day. When I flanked him on either side with hunky nude men, he raised his clasped hands and asked, in that inimitable voice, 'What is my motivation?' " | ||
